ABOUT ASK THE CARDS

For most of its history, tarot was a game similar to Bridge. It was later used in fortune telling, and was appropriated as a part of the extravagantly far-reaching occult community the Order of the Golden Dawn, from which we got the most recognizable of today's tarot card decks, the Rider-Waite and Crowley Thoth decks. Each of these decks have such a richly complex language of symbols, one could easily spend years studying the meaning and history behind each card. These two decks being so archetypal they have heavily influenced countless other deck creations. The purpose of this website is to help you study the comparative symbolism and metaphor of tarot decks to better understand the underlying connections between the physical and unconscious realms.

I am a web programmer and tarot scholar with over twenty years of experience in both fields.

I offer custom tarot software so that you can offer readings on your own website or blog. A tarot journal is optional please contact me before ordering if that is what you want because we must discuss hosting and server stuff. [Private label hosting available for free] Otherwise, by simply copy/pasting HTML code your site can be dealing cards automagically. This is an excellent way of promoting your own reading service, eBook, or tarot deck.

Askthecards.info is my computerized tarot card predictions websites that allow you to choose from many different decks and spreads to answer a variety of questions. We encourage you to shop for and buy a tarot deck and this site should provide you with the ability to choose the one that is best fitting. You may save your readings in an online tarot journal, which allows you to write notes and re-visit later for follow up if desired.

I have also developed a Dream Interpretation App, which I hope you will take the time to try out if you can recall a dream and have a desire to analyze it for esoteric and practical meanings.

I look forward to hearing from you and invite feedback of all kinds. I am here to improve the website as you see fit, so let me know what needs to be done.
